Contemporary Tai Chi Artists, 1st ed., 1996, ISBN 7-5009-1300-1/G.1204, People’s Athletic Publishing Co., Beijing, China. Author/reporter Yan Hanxiu traveled three times throughout China to visit well-known tai chi artists of the time (1990-91). His three trips covered more than ten thousand miles and lasted for months each time. He interviewed 23 of the top contemporary tai chi artists and resulted in this documentary reporting book. Master Liu Jishun was one of his interviewees (“True Heritage: Late Bloomer Liu Jishun,” pp. 195 – 204, 1991). The other top tai chi artists that Yan interviewed were:
